"Ladies of the Lake" Quilt Retreat

Thank you to all who have paarticipated in our annual fall Ladies of the Lake Quilt Retreat at Lake Panorama near Panora, Iowa. Sponsoring such a well received program is very rewarding to us. Your energy feeds our energy. Due to popular demand, we have added a second retreat for this fall - Monday through Wednesday, October 27 through 29. Call soon if you are interested.

"Ladies of the Lake" Retreat is held at the Lake Panorama National Resort and Conference Center, 5071 Clover Ridge Road, Panora, Iowa on Lake Panorama (five miles north and 30 miles west of Des Moines). We meet in a wonderful, well-lit sewing room overlooking a golf course. An excellent, on-site restaurant provides all of the meals. Guests may order whatever they want from the menu (All meals are included in the retreat fee).
Thereis also an on-site motel available for overnight stay. For the retreat, the cost per room is not dependent on how many share the room. Each room has two beds and sleeps four comfortably, making an overnight stay very reasonable. This cost is in addition to the retreat fee. We will have several rooms blocked, so plan to make your reservations through Adel Quilting.

To reach the Conference Center from the Adel area:

Take Hwy 44 west to Panora and turn right (North) on Hwy 4.
Go 1.8 miles north on Hwy 4 - out of town past the lake - to 200th Street.
Turn left on 200th St - by a cemetery and church.
Go 0.8 mile on 200th Street. You will pass an intersection with Panorama Drive, cross a little bridge and
{short description of image}come immediately to a 2nd Panorama Drive intersection.
Turn left on the second Panorama Dr. and follow it for 0.5 mile.
Turn right on Clover Ridge Rd and go another 0.1 mile to the conference center, which is on the right.
